Basil Lime Vinaigrette

I originally set out to make this with Cilantro instead of Basil, but the store was out and my partner who isn’t a big cilantro fan loved this version. Would also make an amazing Chicken Marinade!

Let’s go shopping.

  • 1 bunch basil (about 3/4 cup)

  • 1 garlic clove

  • Juice of 1 large lime

  • 1/2 cup avocado oil

  • 1/4 tsp red chilli flakes (optional)

  • 3-5 tbsp water (to preferred consistency)

  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp salt

Make the dressing

Combine all ingredients a blender or in a medium container that can fit an immersion blender

Blend until fully combined. Depending on your desired consistency, add water.

Serve or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
